
Teri Lynn Hatcher was born on the 8th of December, 1964 in Palo Alto, California. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer for Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an nuclear physicist and electrical engineer. Teri took ballet classes at San Juan School of Dance, and was raised in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was her home. She was the captain of the Featherettes dancing team and was named "Most likely" to become a Solid Gold Dancer. Hatcher was a graduate of De Anza College, where she studied engineering and mathematics. She also attended acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri confessed that she had been sexually assaulted by her uncle Richard Hayes Stone, as young as five. she assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors with their case against him following the victim, who was 14 years old, of Stone's death by suicide. Stone was sentenced in prison for four charges of pleading in guilty pleas to molestation. In prison, he passed away from colon cancer.
