Carey, who stands nearly 5'10, was once a leading American models for fashion. Top designers including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren liked her. Her father is an accomplished geologist, who was awarded Scientist Of The Year 1979 at the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey was educated all over the planet as a consequence of the work of her father. Following her graduation from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, she began modeling on the side. The idea caught the attention of an agent from Ford Model Agency New York. In the year 1980, she emigrated to France and briefly lived in Paris and Bordeaux and then returned back to New York in order to continue an acting career. The model was featured on Vogue and Glamour covers. While modeling, she continued to study in full-time a major in literature within New York University. When she began studying acting at Neighborhood Playhouse, New York and began to become interested in acting grew. She made her acting debut with a small role in 'Club Paradise" in 1986, starring Robin Williams. White water rafting, skiing and rock climbing are her favorite activities.
