Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former worker in a factory. Her birth date was 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was considered to be an academically talented child when she began in the second grade at age five. In 1975 Stone graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt relocated to New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. They signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency after a short period of time. In Europe Stone spent a full year in Milano and Paris. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. Stone decided to pursue her career as an actress while living in Europe. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" the film which got mixed receptions.
