Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. She began by releasing funny, well-written rap songs that addressed issues like racial identification as well as sexual orientation. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via the trumpet. Then, she started the classical and hip-hop genres. After concentrating on education, she earned the degree of journalist in the college as well as a women's studies major.
