Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell - born on the 27th of March, 1970. She was 5'9" height - is a famous American actor best known as her character actress, the character Dr. Juliet Burke of ABC's Lost TV series. Gia, The Escape Clause. Joseph Day Mitchell's stepfather was an attorney in Dallas and so is the mother of her character Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell relocated with her mother into Dallas, Texas in the year 1970. Her mother later married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell graduated with a high school diploma from Booker T. Washington High School Performing and Visual Arts a Public Magnet School. She is the eldest of three sisters, the other being Kristina Katherine Day Kate Mitchell and Kristina Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991, she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a year in the Encore Theater.
